Hexing privacy policy

Last updated: 2026-11-05. Hexing is made by 21 Goblin Games. This page covers the gameplay data the Hexing demo can send.

What is sent

Gameplay events: which mission and wave you reach, how a run ends (won, lost, quit), run and session length, the game version, your local time and time zone, and optional feedback you type in yourself. Each event carries a random install ID that the game makes on first launch. It is not linked to your Steam ID, Steam name, email or any other account. We do not collect your name, IP address (beyond what any web request unavoidably shows to Google), or files from your computer.

Why

To balance the game and find where players get stuck or leave. Nothing is used for advertising or sold or shared with anyone else.

Where it is stored

Events are sent to a Google Form and stored in a Google Sheet owned by the developer, so Google processes it on our behalf. We keep the data for 12 months, then delete it.

Opting out

In the game, open Settings, then Data, and turn off "Share gameplay data". Nothing is sent after that.

Access and deletion

To see or delete the data tied to your install, email 21goblingames@gmail.com with your install ID (it is stored in telemetry.cfg in the game's user data folder, as InstallId). We will delete every row with that ID. Without the ID we cannot tell which rows are yours.
